Managed to get to know a couple of interesting people at the table and good to see local food bloggers again.

Mushroom Pasta with Truffle Cream Sauce
Pork Knuckle with Sauerkraut
Cajun Baby Chicken
Crab Meat Salad
Duck Confit with Carrot Puree
Chocolate cake and Assorted Macroons
Basically, the food is really in huge servings, and it would be value for money, if the taste is just nice. Many of the dishes were either too bland or too salty, which is actually quite bad if we are going to pay 20+ to 30+ for the main courses.
The only dish that taste palatable is the Laksa Spaghetti, which was rather surprising because of the the weird combination. The taste of the sauce with the Spaghetti actually works well, but alas, the dish was taken apart because the tiger prawns were too salty.
For the meat dishes, this picture really explains everything about how High Society does their dishes:
Ambience wise, not too bad. Good to look good while dining here because it gives you that "atas" feel. Food wise, it has a loooooong way to go before it can justify the prices the consumers are paying for. The manager tries his best to entertain the guests, but because he can't promote the dishes well enough, it seems like he is trying very hard to talk.
I would have to thank @misstamchiak and @dashtaz for organising this dinner. However good they have done for the gathering, the establishment didn't meet up to the enthusiasm that they had.
