Cupcakes Galore - The Dessert Factory

Was hanging around with a few friends from Twitter, my fellow photographer friends - @genkigenki @avnjl @juzferyou @tangenghui and @luvyun. We were meeting up to celebrate @luvyun's birthday.

For an after meal dessert, we initially wanted to have traditional desserts at the ever famous Liang Seah Street, but it was all filled up - except one.

A hidden gem at the end of Liang Seah Street, it is situated above the steamboat place.

The location is at:

Dessert Factory
The 101 building
101 beach road
#02-01

We were being approached by one of their staff who was handing out brochures along Liang Seah Street, and decided to try it out (since its all new and all).

Dessert Factory's outlet there, happens to be only about 2 months old (well, 1 month, when we were there) now, and for a new place, they have always been innovative in their creations to cater to customers.

What do they sell here?

Cupcakes~~

Here's a sneak peak at their fridge:

Tempted?

Their internal d├ęcor is pretty simple, and quite cosy - a very good place for a gathering of friends, to chill out and enjoy the desserts.

We had a variety of of cupcakes, that went well with their Famous Taiwan Milk Tea.

I shall not say too much, so I'll let the pictures do the talking.

This place deserves a rating for:
Food: 8 / 10
Service: 7 / 10
Ambience: 6.5 / 10

Overall: 7 / 10

I would strongly recommend coming here for a change of desserts, from the traditional Chinese ones along Liang Seah Street. A great place to hang out with friends! However, one thing to note - beware of the smells from the nearby steamboat eateries, it is quite challenging to your appetite before and after the dessert.
